I'm setting up an airbrushing station, and I realized a cleaning area is essential. So I designed one that can hold jars - it looks pretty good to me too! The glass top is made with openings for filtering the air in. Unfortunately, my airbrush hasn't arrived yet, so I haven't been able to test this out - the dimensions for an airbrush might not fit perfectly (hole diameter, angle, and length of airbrush holder). There's also a seal printed with flexible filament. You don't have to print that part; you can put some silicone in the glass top instead of a printed seal, or use foam rubber if you have it. If someone is willing to test it out, I'd really appreciate any opinions and suggestions for how to improve it. Hi there, Sebastian November 18, 2015 I made a change to the lid - it was too high, so my jar glass couldn't seal properly. There was a gap between the glass and the seal (using foam rubber wouldn't have been an issue). Fixed that. Filter cap v1.1: The enclosure for filter paper was a little too tight. I had to cut some parts off to make it fit in place. So I made it a little smaller and thinner, making it more flexible. Added space to the front clip to make it easier to close. November 19, 2015 I added an alternate brush holder - not complete yet. There are three-millimeter holes so you can fit something that suits your airbrush. I wanted to make a dual helix with open top and bottom parts, but my inventor skills aren't up to it. Some other time...
