Airbrush Cleaning Pot
thingiverse
This is an airbrush cleaning pot designed for versatility, accommodating various airbrush receptacles. Originally crafted for the Badger 350, it has been upgraded with a universal receptacle compatible with my Badger SOTAR, making it nearly universally applicable. The 350 receptacle boasts an oval shape, while the universal one is round in design. This cleaning pot features a sophisticated three-stage filter system, ensuring optimal airbrush maintenance. The first stage filter is positioned at the bottom of the chamber, supported by a small plastic frame. A second layer of filtration can be added by placing cotton balls or similar materials on top of the plastic frame, providing an extra level of cleanliness. The third and final stage of filtration is located beneath the outer cap, completing the system's effectiveness. Initially, I encountered issues with direct up-spray from my airbrush clogging the filters. To resolve this problem, I designed a baffle and securely attached it to the underside of the base, minimizing the issue significantly. A photo demonstrating the baffle in place is available for review.
