Single-shot loaders allow humans to quickly and easily reload their firearms after each shot is fired. This is achieved by simply inserting a new cartridge into the chamber of the gun, which then needs to be manually cocked or primed before it can be fired again. Single-shot loaders come in various forms, including tubular magazines that hold a single round and break-action shotguns where the barrel is hinged at the breach end and swings open to reveal the firing chamber.
