Air Zone Punisher - 43mm Cage (Airzone)
thingiverse
This is a 43mm flywheel cage for the Airzone Punisher. It's a remix of the OFP 43mm Stryfe cage, designed to be more robust and efficient. You won't need the back plate used on the original model to hold the motors in place, as this design uses the motor screw holes directly on the face. I've also added reinforcement features to keep it rigid without the need for a backplate, ensuring maximum stability under load. Due to its required rigidity, you'll need to print it with a high infill percentage to prevent it from bending or warping under stress. I personally used 100% infill at 0.1mm layer height, with the two towers facing the print bed for optimal results. Supports will be necessary during printing, but they should only touch the bed lightly.
