This is a versatile clamp design engineered specifically for securing lightweight air/pneumatic tools to rafters or walls with ease. Two interlocking clamp parts are utilized, secured together using M5 hardware to create a sturdy bond. A single bolt approximately 25mm in length and a complementary nut (recommended for added security) form the pivot point. To provide efficient clamping force, a compression spring measuring 3/8" x 3/4" or similar dimensions is strategically integrated. Users can effortlessly store and retrieve tools by pushing them in and pulling them out with one hand. Custom versions catering to 1/4 NPT Industrial connectors and Automotive/Truflate requirements are included in the design. However, it's essential to note that only the Industrial version has undergone thorough testing and validation. Notably, the coupler from Mc-Master Carr was used as a reference point, scaled up by a factor of 1.1 in Fusion to achieve an optimal fit.
