Air Stand 2.0
thingiverse
The Air Stand resembles Apple's iMac, Thunderbolt Display, and Cinema Display designs but offers a personalized touch compared to aluminum alternatives. It is utilized daily alongside a Thunderbolt Display to save desk space and align Macbook and external display screens. The 2.0 version aims to resolve frequent printing issues found in the initial release. Printing at 0.4mm layer height reduces print time, though a smaller layer height enhances smoothness. Default Replicator 2 settings require approximately 8 hours for completion. To minimize support material needs, rotate the object 90 degrees in Makerware, ensuring its longest dimension measures around 152mm - nearly the Replicator 2's maximum printable length.
