This replacement air scoop fits perfectly on Mecaplex aircraft canopies, such as those found on our club's Twin Astir and Hornet gliders. All three STLs can be printed using the same settings: Filament: Transparent PETG. Note that PLA is not recommended due to its tendency to soften in hot temperatures. Layer height: 0.1mm Infill: 100% For optimal results, choose a textured build surface when printing the window. This is because PETG scratches easily, and smooth windows are prone to ugly scuff marks. A textured surface effectively conceals this issue. I've included the Fusion 360 design file for you to modify as needed. Feel free to add your glider's callsign to the back of the handle with an embossed finish!
