There's a newer model of this design:Air Raid Siren - Hand Crank Version 2.   This model is completely 3D printed and functions perfectly but may experience friction problems when rotating quickly. Use it with caution! Do not touch the moving parts while they are in motion! Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 10 % Notes: The gap between the moving parts are optimized for a 0.4 nozzle diameter, important if you use MakerWare. Every part is designed to be printed without support and raft, but some parts have built-in support that can be removed after printing. To improve stability, print the parts "_GetrAdapt" and "_Kurbel2" with more shells / infill. The rest can be printed using standard settings. To finish it, you must glue together the rotor parts. Finally, use some oil for the moving parts.
