Air raid siren
thingiverse
I finally got my 3D printer up and running. My first design was a success - it worked as intended, but it required high RPMs to function properly. I attribute this to the size of the airways, which could potentially be improved at larger scales. Note: To secure the siren to the rod, I used a small screw through the side. This method works well, but alternatives like glue or another option are also viable. The purple disks shown are unnecessary connectors that can be removed. To print this design, you will need to create 4 washers - one for each side of the two bearings. Not required in this 3D printing process: * An axle made from an 8mm threaded rod * Two nuts for the rod * Two skateboard bearings with an 8mm ID and a 12mm OD (although they are not strictly necessary, they can be useful if you need to replace them) * A tiny screw
