Air Raid Siren

Air Raid Siren

thingiverse

An air raid siren powered by a brushless motor is designed with reliability in mind, featuring an RCTimer 5010-360KV engine that offers smooth operation. With a total weight of 440 grams, this siren can be mounted on a copter with ease. The only part requiring additional support is the "Sirene Rotor1" component, which necessitates some extra consideration during assembly. To print this air raid siren on a replicator 2, you'll need to adjust the file sizes for "Sirene Wand" and "Sirene Deckel". A slight modification by moving these parts in the y-axis is necessary due to their oversized nature. To experience the sound quality of this air raid siren firsthand, watch the attached video on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOa8Jh2RAUA&feature=youtu.be Additional components required include: - Motor: RCTimer 5010-360KV - RC-Stuff: An ESC with 20A capacity and a device to send signals to the ESC - 4 screws (M3, 20mm) - A bearing with specific dimensions (5mm inside diameter, 11mm outside diameter, and 4mm width, matching those used in the RCTimer motor) Integrating an Arduino or Raspberry Pi for alarms was considered; this would be a simple and effective alarm clock setup. However, experience with such projects is needed to ensure successful integration. Print Settings: Rafts: None Supports: Required for part "Sirene_Rotor1" only Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 10% Notes: Support must be removed carefully from part "rotor1"; if not, it may impede smooth operation of the siren. Post-printing instructions include: To ensure proper functioning, minimize space between rotor parts and shell by drawing them as close together as possible. If issues arise due to scraping or other imperfections during assembly, some sandpaper may be required to rectify this problem. Rotor components are securely held in place using glue. Another viable method involves merely attaching the components to each other without adhesive. Lastly, carefully removing supports from part "rotor1" is essential to guarantee seamless siren operation.
