Enclosure for Air Quality Monitoring Sensors. This device is based on the ESP8266, but it can also be built with an ESP32. The enclosure houses multiple sensors, each designed to monitor different aspects of air quality. The SDS011 sensor measures particulate matter in the air, specifically PM 2.5 and 10 microns in size. It's a crucial component of this system. The Senseair S8 CO2 sensor is another critical element. With it, you can automate ventilation control based on detected levels. In addition to these sensors, the CCS811 eCO2 and TVOC sensor provides a comparison point for the S8, although its data isn't extremely helpful. Lastly, the HDC1080 temperature and humidity sensor monitors ambient conditions. While it works well, the bme280 is generally considered better for this purpose. Adding more sensors is straightforward due to advancements in technology. Fortunately, you don't need to write any code thanks to esphome.io's user-friendly platform.
