Air Quality Monitor Display
thingiverse
Air quality has always been a top concern for me since I spend most of my day in an office filled with multiple printers, constantly pumping out paper and ink. To get a better understanding of the air quality around me, I started researching online for affordable air quality monitors that could provide real-time data. However, I quickly realized that these devices are often expensive and the information they display can be confusing to decipher. To address this issue, I decided to design my own air quality monitor using a Sparkfun CCS811 Air Quality sensor and an 1602 Serial Backlight LCD Module, which displays vital air quality metrics in real-time. This setup allows me to keep a close eye on the air quality around me throughout the day, especially when printing large documents. For those interested in replicating my project, I've made my Arduino code and hookup guide available online at: https://create.arduino.cc/editor/partsoven/b15ff6be-be76-4a74-a175-f170c59b752e/preview
