Air Purifier Fan housing for 3D Printing
thingiverse
This simple fan enclosure wraps filter material snugly around it. Inspired by a Nidec Do5f-12BL fan, this design likely works well with various Blower types too. Fusion 360 files are included for download. A connector to the fan outlet is still needed; currently, it just blows air into the room. Bill of Materials: Housing bolts: 3 x 10mm long, totaling 6 Fan to Housing bolts: 4 x 35mm long, paired with 2 nuts and washers each for added security Magnetic components: 8 x 3mm strong (purchased from Amazon) Glue is used to secure the outlet to the fan; I employed super glue successfully Activated charcoal filter material is held in place by double-sided sticky tape.
