These holes are specifically designed for 6mm OD PVC tubing, undersized by 0.2mm to ensure a perfect fit. To make insertion easier, apply a small amount of Oil when seating the hose in the openings. The two-part filter requires gluing together after printing. Depending on the printer's accuracy, the inlet side may need chamfering on the inside to ensure a smooth connection. Adequate support is essential for the inside of the inlet, as it has shallow overhangs that can cause the part to split during printing. The Coupler Component: A Versatile Solution The coupler can be used to join two pieces of 6mm OD PVC tubing, making it an ideal solution for complex piping systems. Both the filter and the coupler feature space for a 5mm wide zip tie, ensuring secure connections.
