This is a swiveling mount specifically designed for an eye Dropper used in conjunction with the Endurance 10W+ Laser. It securely attaches to the heatsink using a reliable mounting system. The provided air assist utilizes a small PVC hose and an even smaller copper tube to supply air directly to the Laser. This configuration uses 1/4" PVC Tubing in combination with a Glass or Plastic eye dropper, resulting in increased airflow and only constriction at the very end of the eye dropper, which effectively generates a Venturi velocity increase at the tip. To connect it to the laser, you'll need to modify a screw as the original slot for an M4 screw had to be resized on a lathe before allowing the ball to fit snugly in the socket. Additionally, you may need to sand or file the 7mm hole slightly to accommodate the eye dropper. A convenient screw hole is provided to secure it firmly, but due to its precise design, I didn't require a retainer screw. To assemble the PVC tubing, simply heat it up slightly and slide it over the eye dropper's back end. Although I haven't had the opportunity to test it yet, this setup allows for more air at a higher velocity to be directed precisely onto the laser burn point. This project was created using Tinkercad, utilizing Connector parts that were modified to suit my needs. I'm thrilled with Tinkercad and highly recommend it!
