Air Mattress Pump (Therm-a-Rest)
thingiverse
Friend was mercilessly mocked by a friend over manually inflating my big air mattress (Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XTherm MAX). So, I decided to create an affordable yet effective pump. The tedious process of inflating the mattress and suffering jokes are now a thing of the past! Demo: https://youtu.be/lGrT8UofPhc Parts needed: 1. A 5V cooling blower fan (5015S) that's available at (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1-pcs-5015S-5V-0-1-0-3A-Black-Brushless-DC-Cooling-Blower-Fan/32643835165.html) 2. A spare USB cable 3. A 3D printed cover plate (FanCover.stl) 4. A custom 3D printed mattress adapter - either a spiralized design (FlexAdapterSpiralize.stl) or a standard one (FlexAdapterStandard.stl) for fail-safe purposes 5. An optional case for the pump (PumpCaseUpper.stl and PumpCaseBottom.stl) 6. At your own risk, an overpowered 8V boost converter is available at (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/DC-DC-USB-5V-to-6-15V-Step-Up-Boost-Converter-Voltage-Inverter-Module-Adjustable/32825278381.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.lYWAIh)
