Its a bit taller and it has a 1.5m radii. Most significant is an alternate attachment design with a skirt which can be inserted into the fuselage and provide a cooling passage. This 1500mm version seems the best fit for the AT-6. Will confirm after we get it installed. When the installation is complete and confirmed, I will remove all the other designs as well as all these build updates.Nov 25, 2023Created G17 950mm.stl and G17 1000mm.stl after another fit check today. These intakes are taller and the axial radii is 950/1000mm respectively.Nov 19, 2023Created G16 850mm.stl and G16 900mm.stl after another fit check today. This intake is taller, wider in the middle and the axial radii is 850/900mm respectively.Nov 11, 2023Added 2nd .STL with a 700mm radii in line with the axis of the aircraft (G14 7m) for the next fit check. See image above. Original was flat on that axis.Original PostHelping a friend replace a lost intake. Didn't have the original intake so just did the best I could with just the fuselage/cowl.The foam blister behind the original intake will need to be trimmed back. Final fit check to the plane has not been completed as of Nov 5th, but prototype fit ups indicate this should be close. The no pin version is intended to help check the fit up verification prior to installation. The air intake could be functional if a passage is made in the fuselage wall.
