When driving in the rain or wearing warmer clothing, I often notice that I instinctively place two fingers between the foam cover to allow some air to circulate. This simple adjustment likely resolves the issue, as the Velcro strap tends to compress the cover too tightly. To print this air vent design using Cura as my slicer, I employed a few clever tricks since the model is solid. Firstly, I set the top and bottom thicknesses to zero, which generates a hollow design. Next, I adjusted the infill percentage to about 8% and utilized the Cura 15.03 infill pattern, specifically the square grid setting. The photograph accompanying this note showcases my first prototype of the air vent design.
