Here's a solution I came up with. ## Instructions: To create this DIY project, you'll need a 120mm fan with blue LEDs (UV LEDs work best), a USB fan (5v) or regular PC fan (12v), zip ties, and an air filter that can be cut to size. The Aqua-Flo Cut to Fit AC / Furnace Premium Washable Reusable Air Filter (16"x 25"x 1") is highly recommended. ## Assembly: The light reflector with the fan grill joined to the fan and fan mount using zip ties should then be attached to the base using 3D printed threads. The assembly process is straightforward, but be cautious when working with electrical components. ## Notes: 1. Please use this project at your own risk. 2. The air filter must be cut to size, and it's recommended to use a static pressure fan from 1 mmH2O and higher for optimal performance. 3. For silent operation, consider using a fan with 1mmH2O or less (less performance) and a noise level of 30db or less. 4. A balanced performance can be achieved by using a fan in the 2.2-2.5 range mmH2O. 5. For maximum performance, use a fan with 4+ mmH2O, but note that this may not be accurate and results may vary. 6. This project is designed to work continuously for 24/7 hours. 7. If you're using a 120mm PC fan, consider using a 12v 3-5A 5-10 watt PSU depending on the fan's power requirement. 8. To reduce noise levels, use silent fans with 25db or less and low CFM (e.g., 32 cfm). 9. If the LED mosquito trap doesn't work for you, try separating the LED and placing it on top of the light reflector to point the light down and inside. 10. This project can be used as a mosquito trap alone, air filter alone, or both. 11.
