Air Filter Housing (Devilbiss Air Compressor)
thingiverse
This is a direct replacement for the air filter housing on my air compressor who's a Devilbiss Pro Air 2. You have to undo the 4 bolts from the piston head and remove the top part to be able to pull out the housing and replace it with this one. As this is a direct replacement, it will not enhanced nor reduce the performance from your compressor, it's here in case you broke it like me. I've inspected the original part with a caliper and remade it as is. I've tested the tolerance and the fit is snug. In case your printer as a little inprecision, feel free to sand it a bit to fit. I recommend printing it at and angle to minimize the supports while still providing a good orientation of the grain to make the part strong (see attached picture). While tempting, printing it standing up could make the part more prone to snapping right where it touch the head of the cylinder. Printing it flat to maximize grain structure will require a lot of supports. I've added the fusion 360 version if you would like to modify it to screw in a different filter or else.
