air filter (activated charcoal)
thingiverse
I was inspired to create a DIY air filter with activated carbon after discovering a similar idea on Instructables. However, I couldn't find all the necessary parts, so I decided to replicate it myself. The original project can be found at http://www.instructables.com/id/Activated-Carbon-Air-Filter/. To build this filter, you'll need some activated carbon, which can be purchased online from Amazon - for those in India, try http://amzn.in/hyctZ99, while US residents can find it at http://a.co/8AD0XHG. Note that the shape of your filter may vary slightly, but its functionality will remain the same. The "base ring" is a crucial component that keeps the inner cylinder in place, ensuring proper airflow and efficiency.
