The small air engine can be produced and constructed using a modest mill and lathe with the materials listed below: part 1 - 3/8" x 3/8" x 2 1/4" cold rolled steel (CRS) bar stock; part 2 - 3/8" x 3/8" x 1 3/8" CRS bar stock; part 3 - 3/8" dia. CRS round bar; part 4 - 10-32 UNF nut; part 5 - 3/16" dia. drill rod; part 6 - 1/4" dia. drill rod; part 7 - 0.125" dia. dowel; part 8 - 5/8" dia. CRS round bar; part 9 - 1/4" x 1 5/8" x 1 5/8" aluminum bar stock; part 10 - 1" dia. cold rolled steel; part 11 - 3/16" dia. dowel; part 12 - a small spring to suit; part 13 - 10-32 countersink screw; and part 14 - 6-32 set screw.
