What this is: Print this little doodad and attach it to your compressed air machine, blasting out your heating/cooling vents or a dryer vent. Stuff the hose in the vent and it will bounce around inside, sending all the dust back towards you where you can suck it up with a vacuum. Get those vents clean and keep the dust out of your house. Why? My friend at work is bringing home a premature baby soon. They need their house to be as dust-free as possible. He told me about having to pay $400 for some guys to come to his house to clean his vents. They used a nozzle exactly like this to do the job. When we went online to try and buy one, we were told we couldn't purchase it ($20) because we're not "contractors". That didn't sit well at all. So here you go! Make your own all day long. You don't have to be a contractor; just an engineer can do it. How I printed it: I sliced this with a little support base before printing, as rounded bottom parts tend to break loose on me. Your mileage may vary. I printed at 200C hotend and 60C build plate, using .2 millimeter layers in PLA. You might have to work the part back and forth onto the threaded hose fitting the first time. I made it a little small so that it would fit airtight.
