Air Conditioner drain connector
thingiverse
I wanted to drain the water from my window air conditioner properly with a hose instead of laying a bucket underneath. AC: Arctic King (model `mwhuk-12crn8-bcl0`). The min diameter of the drain hole is ~15.5 mm which seems to be common amongst window ACs. The end fits a 1/4 inch inside diameter (3/8 inch outside diameter) clear vinyl tubing, which cost 29 cents CAD / ft at Home Depot. Used sticky tack to seal the connector to the AC, but you could probably use a rubber gasket like a civilized human. **Printing** Flipped it upside down and printed with tree supports. I blocked out the main column to prevent support material from being printed there. I let it create supports in the smaller tube and used various tools to haul it out, but you probably don't need supports there either. **Troubleshooting:** If it behaves more like a plug instead of a drain, you may need to trim down the sides so it isn't blocking the water from flowing into the connector.
