Air Condition with Heat Recuperation Computer Fan Powered Air Conditioning with Heat Recovery. ## Initial Conditions: A hole through the wall with a diameter of at least 96mm (fits into a 100mm pipe) is required. The hole should be slightly downhill to prevent water condensation from forming. Except for the 3D-printed parts, you will need: * Two 120mm computer fans (as quiet as possible). I have had good experience with 'Be Quiet' brand. * A power supply of 7-12V DC. 7V is ideal for maximum quietness, while 12V provides maximum power. * Eight screws or glue to secure the fans in place. * Super Glue. * Sandpaper. Optional: aluminum ribs (see below). ## Internal Part: The following 3D-printed parts are required: * int_splitter.stl * int_splitter_bend45.stl * fan_connect.stl (two copies) * connection_ring.stl ## External Part: The following 3D-printed parts are required: * ext_splitter.stl * ext_pipe.stl ## Exchanger Part: You will need as many exchanger parts as the thickness of your wall requires. For example, if your wall is 50cm thick, you will need at least four parts (two 150mm and two 100mm). Choose either a fully printed or aluminum version. ### Exchanger with Plastic Ribs (Fully Printed, Low Efficiency) * exchanger_100.stl * exchanger_150.stl ### Exchanger with Aluminum Ribs You will need 0.8mm thick aluminum rectangles measuring 45x100mm or 45x150mm (13 pieces each). * exchanger2_100.stl * exchanger2_150.stl ## Optional Cover: The following 3D-printed parts are optional: * cover_top.stl * cover_bottom.stl ## Notes: Pay attention to the fan direction. The upper fan should draw in air, while the lower fan should blow air into the room. Check that the exchanger facing sides have minimal gaps between each part. Some sanding may be necessary.
