Air Con Window Vent for Motorhome
thingiverse
We bought an older motorhome with no air conditioning. I found a small 5000BTU unit that consumes about 600w on Amazon that fits nicely between the driver and passenger seats so it's not in the way. The hose is long enough to reach either of the front windows but needs something to secure it. I found a model on here for a Velux window and modified that to start with but the surface area of the outlet on the adapter was significantly less than the surface area of the round hose which cause the air con unit to overheat. I modelled this one completely from scratch so that the outlet surface area matches the hose surface area. This has some small clips on the bottom edge. Our hose isn't one of the flimsy ones with a spiral of wire, it's one that kind of concertinas up and stays like it. It has a solid plastic ring at the end which is what this adapter clips onto. The hose we have is 150mm in diameter. I printed this with the rectangular outlet flat on the bed and used normal supports. On the Bambu, these were very easy to remove. YMMV on other printers.
