Air compressor silencer

I built a silencer for my garage air compressor by creating a thread adapter that screws onto the 3/8" fitting. The silencer itself is stuffed with old cotton material, similar to what you'd find in an old T-shirt or other absorbent fabric. This setup significantly reduces noise levels, bringing them down from a whopping 96db to a much more manageable 85db. I assembled the entire unit using acetone-based glue for a strong and lasting bond.
