Air Canada Flight Crew is heard on their radios communicating as follows prior to and during their doomed flight: Air Canada: Captain says, "This would be a nice flight!" Co-Pilot replies with a more skeptical tone, saying "Yeah, maybe." Engineer interrupts the chatter saying, "Guys, we have a problem! Indicators of pitch are showing false data..." However, Captain decides to disregard Engineer's warning, simply saying "I don't care. Just hit the throttle and let's go!" A few minutes pass by as Lufthansa is now taking off from runway 12. Captain contacts Lufthansa Air Traffic Control (ATC) requesting taxi service onto the adjacent runway where they are going to be cleared for takeoff. "Hey, how can we taxi on that side?" ATC replies simply saying, "K" Captain seems rather satisfied with himself when he says, "Well, looks like we've got ourselves some taxi action happening! Who knew?" His Co-pilot isn't impressed though and just gives a simple two-word response saying, "What now?" Captain ignores his co pilot's skepticism and tells ATC "We have Air Canada flight about to depart. Let us know what time it takes off." Co-Pilot speaks up again this time sounding frustrated when he says, "Ooohh, maybe let's just taxi around and see what happens."
