Air Buggy - Seperate Brake Paddle

Air Buggy - Seperate Brake Paddle

As the Nest Airbuggy has a brake bar that activates both sides simultaneously, this bar runs parallel to the dog buggy's entrance. Owners with small dogs or especially blind dogs risk their pets getting trapped between the bar and the buggy frame. To address this issue, I removed the bar and created a lever/paw pad for each side of the brakes. Please note that you will need to print this file twice (left/right brake) using the mirror function in your slicer or by utilizing the freeware meshmixer tool. The paddle mounts to the existing holes where the brake bar was originally secured. To complete the modification, six M5x22mm screws are required (the original nuts can be reused). A complimentary Freecad file is included for your convenience. In addition, a retractable ramp for the Nest Airbuggy is currently in development and will soon be available. This feature will allow owners to create a hidden entrance under the buggy frame that can be retracted when necessary, addressing concerns about small dogs getting trapped due to the higher entrance height designed for larger breeds.
