Air Boat

I spent my early college years working on projects like this one, which I created using the Makerbot Replicator 2 when I first discovered it. Living in Chicago, I found that the city lacked greenery and most students were too busy to care for plants. To compensate, I designed the Air Boat, a vessel that houses small air plants, allowing owners to water them quickly with minimal effort. Air plants are already low maintenance, but this design makes them even easier to care for. Simply place the plants in water, then return them to the boat to dry – no need to move around much. As an added bonus, I enjoyed crafting my own wooden bowl using lathing techniques.
