Air assist for the Longer Ray 5 laser engraver/cutter. 03/03/22 -Added dual cone design. Opening at nozzle for laser should allow the same cooling air flow as the stock shroud/nozzle. May need a small bit of glue or silicone sealant on air inlet to hold the aquarium air line in after you make sure it's not bottomed out and flows air well. 01/11/22 Updates: -The original files had an outside dimension of 40x40mm which made installing the amber shroud difficult, so all files have been cut off to 38x38mm for a better fit. -Added four more versions that have the center around the cooling holes removed. One has the nozzle pointing to the side, and the other to the back. Will most likely need to remove air hose from inlet to adjust for focus. The first two files MUST BE MOUNTED WITH THE AIR INLET & ROUNDED CUTOUT TO FACE THE REAR OF THE MODULE FOR THE COOLING AIR THROUGH THE MODULE TO NOT BE OBSTRUCTED!!, and be able to retain the amber shield on the bottom. The 9 cooling holes in the module will not match the cutouts in the print if mounted with the air inlet to the sides or front. Printed with PLA @ 50% infill, NO support. Will block air assist passage if printed with support "everywhere" . If having issues with the nozzle tip, support with "touching baseplate" might help, but shouldn't be necessary. I printed this with .2mm layer height and it printed fine, but higher quality settings might product a better nozzle tip. The air inlet is 4.8mm dia. which holds aquarium air tubing. It isn't perfect, but should work. It might fit on other brands of 40mm sq laser modules, but could block the cooling passages so check before use. The nozzle should direct the air to a point 30mm down from the bottom of the module, so if it's focus distance is different, it may not work as well.
