I upgraded my Air 2 to Bowden configuration, gaining extra space from 90mm to 134mm. However, this created a problem - M4 screw heads kept getting stuck on hot end wires coming from the x-carriage. To solve this issue, I referenced Mecano's drawings and redesigned the squad brackets with one key modification: I embedded Allen heads into the design. Additionally, I added chamfers to the edges of the squads. Now, my x-carriage can move freely without any obstructions or wire entanglements. To achieve this redesign, I employed OpenSCAD, utilizing its capabilities to bring my vision to life.
