Aion draws its inspiration from the concept of a hypercube, a geometric shape that serves as an n-dimensional analogue of a square (n = 2) and a cube (n = 3). Composed of groups of opposite parallel segments aligned in each dimension of space at right angles to one another, Aion is a closed, compact, convex figure. It represents a cube in four dimensions, or a 4-cube. Time can be viewed as the fourth dimension, situated at the center and depicted by the growth of the plant that can be planted there. Aion measures 100x100x100mm in total, with an interior space capable of holding 40x40x50mm of soil or water.
