AIM-9B Sidewinder Model Rocket for 24mm (Estes D Engines)
thingiverse
Finally sharing this rocket after 4 successful flights. It's designed to run on Estes D12-3 Engines, which deliver an impressive 319 feet of altitude with each flight. I printed mine using Taulman N-vent and carefully sanded the body and fins for a smooth finish. Despite its compact size, it can be a bit heavy in the air, but I've had great results by adding weight to the nose cone for added stability. It's time to take this rocket out for another spin! If you're feeling adventurous, add some extra weight and see how high it soars. Don't forget to share your launch videos on YouTube, I'd love to check them out. Remember to always verify your rocket's performance in openrocket before launching. A huge thank you goes out to the Tri-Cities Rocketeers for allowing me to launch this with their F44-8W engine.
