<p>I think its necessary that everybody in the world helps according to his possibilities and skills to defeat COVID-19!<br/> Therefore I also want to contribute and help people. With this respirator kit I want to support PRUSAs initiative „Everyday necessities for life during a pandemic“ Designer Contest<br/> My goal was to provide a printable and well-fitting respirator with exchangeable filter element. According to official statements it takes two key features for a respirator to provide sufficient safety for medical use. The first is a certified filter material. The second is a proper fit to inhibit contaminated air from bypassing the filter material.<br/> I am not able to provide certified filter materials BUT I am quite able to create a design which is capable to provide a proper and comfortable fit. This is what my respirator kit is about. For demonstration reasons I took a coffee filter as dummy to show how it works. My hope is that you can help to find partners which are able to provide proper filters.<br/> To ensure the user has the best instruction to handle the respirator, I’ve created this presentation…</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Printer: PRUSA MK3S<br/> First layer Speed: 60%<br/> Layer Hight: 0,3mm<br/> Material: PETG<br/> Due too its mechanical properties it was ideal for this application.
