aiiro case for rasberry pi and 1.8" TFT screen
thingiverse
This is my custom case designed specifically to house a Raspberry Pi Zero and a TFT display. The primary objective was to utilize a Pi for displaying essential stats, which led me to create this unique case. The TFT screen operates independently using the SPI protocol, functioning as a peripheral device rather than a framebuffer. There's ample space available at the bottom where you could easily integrate a speaker and I2C amplifier; I plan on adding specialized containers for these components in the near future. Unfortunately, incorporating the bezel proved to be a challenge, so it's been printed separately. Although this design isn't perfect, it functions adequately and appears much neater when placed on a desk compared to using a breadboard. In due course, I'll be publishing an Instructable that thoroughly explains the software involved. The display itself is a 1.8" TFT ST7735, which can be acquired for approximately $7.
