AIDC F-CK-1A Ching-Kuo Also known as IDF (Indigenous Defense Fighter) is a multirole aircraft designed and produced by Taiwan that entered service in 1997 in 130 exemplars. The project began when the Taiwanese Ministry of National Defense decided to replace the old interceptor fleet with a new and more reliable fighters line; the first choice was the F-20 Tigershark and the F-16 but, due to diplomatic pressure from China, the US refused to sell these fighters to Taiwan. However, the United States has maintained some sort of assistance to Taiwan through technology transfer, so the project has been developed with the support of various American companies such as General Dynamics and General Electric. Model 1:100 scale. Print test at 1:285 with 0.2mm nozzle (but still sliceable with 0.4mm nozzle and 1:300 scale) and 0.08 mm layers. Printed with a Ender3 as shown in the image taken from PrusaSlicer 2.0. I opted for the two-part version to keep most of the tail and nose details; use some sandpaper and in the end the glued joint is not so visible and once painted almost invisible. Ciao Erik
