AI3M threaded spindle z-axis leading
thingiverse
This z-axis threaded spindle holder boosts print quality and ensures smooth rotation by reducing z-wobble and uneven rotation of the spindle. I've noticed it improves facial details on prints and reduces waves on object edges. The holder attaches to both sides of my Anycubic i3 Mega Frame at the top end of the Spindle, keeping the spindle aligned in x- and y-directions via a linear shaft. Ref. Model: Anycubic i3 Mega 2018v, 2-zaxis sensors To print this holder, you'll need to: * Print 2 copies of "z_axis_holder_main_print2x" (no support needed) * Print 1 copy each of "z_axis_holder_leftaxis_1x" and "z_axis_holder_rightaxis_1x" (support required for blind holes) For mounting the holder, you'll also need: * 2 M3 bolts (e.g. M3x15 works well) * 2 M3 nuts You can apply lubrication between the mounted holder and spindle to ensure smooth operation. Please note that there's no guarantee of improved print quality with this holder.
