A highly advanced robotic hand is now available, featuring four fingers and a thumb that can be equipped with 10 micro servos for precise finger movement and control. Each finger's knuckle offers flex and lateral movement, while the thumb features flex and rotation capabilities. A standard-sized servo at the wrist provides pitch rotation. July 11, 2019: Files for the IND_01 fingers have been updated to include a revised knuckle pivot that encloses the servo horn completely, eliminating the force override mechanism for the micro servos. These servos are robust enough to withstand reasonable abuse for an acceptable period of time. If you've already downloaded the files and only want to update the knuckle pivot, four replacements can be printed from Knuckle_Pivot_08_IND_01.STL. July 17, 2019: Files for an improved thumb design have been released under the IND_01 designation. July 23, 2019: The Knuckle_Pivot_09 now includes a 0.1mm extra clearance in the slot for the servo horn. Additionally, Inner_Palm_16 has improved screw access around the thumb and provides more clearance to accommodate the taller Knuckle_Pivot at the forefinger. Thumb_Knuckle_Cross_07_FDM features a split design that allows easy insertion of the servo horn.
