Ahoy DTU Case for Hoymiles Inverters
thingiverse
Case for the components of a Ahoy DTU. See the Ahoy DTU Project Page on Github: https://github.com/lumapu/ahoy The Ahoy DTU allows for communicating with a bunch of Hoymiles Microinverters for small sized Solar Systems. It is even possible to set the power limit of the inverter. The components cost around 6€ compared to the equivalent commercial product - the Hoymiles DTU Pro - that cost around 260€. The case takes an WeMos D1 Mini with USB - C connector, e.g. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32831353752.html and an NRF24L01+ module, e.g. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32280738812.html These two modules worked for me. However, please read the notes on the Github page about fake modules! There is plenty of space in between the modules for the cables. The reset button is exposed and can be operated. The LED of the WeMos D1 Mini is hidden and cannot be seen easily from the outside. Mounting the case by 2 screws or a cable tie is possible.
