Create a miniature model inspired by Robert Indiana's "Ahava" statue, which is the Hebrew version of his famous "Love" sculpture. This will be a surprise gift for your wife during Chanukah, so keep it under wraps until next week. To make the model, convert a graphic of the letters into an SVG file and import it in Blender. Extrude the SVG paths to create solids, and design the base. The Blender file is included for customization purposes. The STLs are divided into three parts: the main letters, the lower letter hey's "leg," and the base. Print these at 400% scale on your BFB-3000 to achieve a final size of approximately 2.5 inches tall on the base. No support is required for printing in black ABS. For a snug fit, file the "leg" and stub of the letter hey as needed, and slightly widen the holes on the base if necessary. Secure the parts together using acetone or your preferred adhesive, and share the love!
