Meet Rohan. His name signifies "Self" in Sanskrit, making him literally an "I, Android." Initially, I was inspired to design him by a business in India that is developing a conversational AI meant to serve as both a helper and a companion for the user. I was motivated to use Indic design elements. That sparked me into thinking about the multi-limbed gods and goddesses typical of Indic mythological lore. For instance, the 8-armed Kali, a stunning female deity who was born flawless and lovely with an assortment of tools in each of her 8 hands, each a gift from a different god and each intended for a specific task. Rohan takes multitasking to the next level, tidying your home, preparing your meals, watering your plants or garden, organizing your belongings, brewing your coffee, assisting you in sticking to your diet and exercise plan, entertaining your children or guests, serving beverages, and even acting as a guardian to secure your home. He can coordinate and orchestrate all of the smart devices in your residence. Well met, Rohan!
