AH3d hot end
thingiverse
I'm working on a fresh new hot end design and am determined to build it as soon as possible, likely using a combination of steel and brass. There's no way for me to conduct virtual heat tests since I don't have any specialized software available, which means there's no guarantee that this design will work flawlessly. The idea is to make the hot end relatively simple to manufacture on a manual lathe. A drilled M8 threaded rod makes up the plug at the top, while the body can be crafted from either carbon steel or aluminum – I'm still deciding on that front. Edit1: I've updated my design to better accommodate nozzles sourced directly from eBay.
