The latest Boeing AH-64 Apache model (16th version) features a streamlined hierarchy and easy-to-animate components, along with enhanced textures. Released on 14th March 2015, it boasts of a more accurate representation than previous versions. This helicopter is a twin-engine attack aircraft with a tailwheel arrangement and a tandem cockpit for two crew members. First flown on September 30, 1975, the Apache was initially designed by Hughes Helicopters as Model 77 for the U.S. Army's Advanced Attack Helicopter program to replace AH-1 Cobra. The model saw service in April 1986. The current version is a 10th revision dated May 27, 2014, with an improved body and detailed components. Those who bought the model before this date can update it automatically. A fix for C4D version of the model, which had issues with texture pulling, was also included in this update. Renderings were performed using C4D, Autodesk Showcase, and Vue 11, though compatibility with other programs or rendering engines is not guaranteed.
