AH-64 MPD for VR Use (No Pots)
thingiverse
I have designed an MPD for VR use with DCS. The MPD is designed to mount a LeoBodnar BU0836X - 32 button card which I mounted with 4x M3x12mm screws. You can put the entire unit together using the 3D printed screws included but I would suggest finding metal screws that actually fit. The button holes are sized for 12x12x8 mm momentary tact tactile push button switch with a 10x10 mm cap. Hot glue the button brace in place to prevent bending of the brace when pushing the buttons. The button brace must be lined up appropriately with the box to ensure the screw holes line up. To do this, I've added a "T" in the corners of both the brace and the box. Simply make sure both "T's" are facing up and you will have the correct alignment. The top of the MPD face plate should have the 6 buttons on top. Sorry, it is not designed for pots to be used for brightness, etc. I also do not plan to make a version that a screen can be placed in. The MPD measures 8"x8"x2" (230mmx230mmx27mm)
