I've created a special version of the famous Huey Cobra helicopter for Marines. They weren't allowed to use Apaches at the time, but they still wanted a two-engine variant. For a 1/285 scale model, you can simply use a clear plastic disc for the rotors. The main rotor is 51.25mm in diameter, and the tail rotor is 10.5mm in diameter. The model is fully scaled in Blender 2.80 and exported from Blender 2.79b at a 1/100 scale for the .stl file. To print it, simply scale down to 35% in your slicer. I've had some issues exporting .stl files from Blender 2.80 for Cura; it seems that 2.79b and 2.80 export the same mesh to different file sizes. So I'm sticking with Blender 2.79b for consistency's sake. As usual, a standard d6 die is 15mm in diameter, which can serve as a reference point for your model. I need to redo my slicer profile completely, and yes, I made another mistake - the scale was 10 times too small. Version 2 of the mesh should fix that issue.
