This adapter lets you attach your GoPro 'foot' to the AGV K-3 SV helmet. It's designed to closely follow the contour of the helmet, with a cavity for gluing it in place. It might fit other helmets, but there are no guarantees. There are two ways to use this adapter: **For Maximum Strength** * Drill three 3mm holes in the center of the hexagonal cavities. * Push three M3 nuts into them. * Glue the adapter to the helmet with epoxy or a similar adhesive. * Drill three corresponding holes in the GoPro foot, countersink them like you see in the pictures, and attach it to the helmet using 12mm threaded length M3 screws. Test fit to make sure the screws aren't too long, otherwise you'll screw into the front of the helmet, potentially cracking it. * You might need to adjust the screw length to get it right. This method lets you remove the GoPro foot, leaving just the small adapter on your helmet. **For a Non-Permanent Solution** * Connect the GoPro foot and this adapter together using epoxy glue or M3 bolts like in the picture/video. * Use hot glue to stick the rig to the helmet chin. Make sure to use extra-strength premium hot glue like Bosch 2609256D29, as cheap glue sticks might not hold and might not be weather-resistant. When using adhesives, make sure to clean both surfaces with isopropyl (or acetone if you don't care about paint). Roughen the 3D print surface a little to help adhesion. Print this adapter with 100% infill if you plan to drill M3 holes. ABS is definitely better for this scenario. Print the GoPro side down, and use thin supports. Note: The video and images show an earlier version of the design, where I made a mistake with the bolt hole positions. The current STL has better screw placements.
