As a result, Octavianus became the first Roman Emperor, adopting the name Augustus. Agrippa helped Augustus turn Rome into "a city of marble" and renovated aqueducts to give all Romans access to high-quality public services. He built many baths, porticoes, and gardens, as well as the original Pantheon. Agrippa was married to Julia the Elder (later married to Emperor Tiberius), and his daughter Caligula's mother.
