I'd love to take you through the process of making your very own custom pen holder. It's actually quite easy once you get the hang of it. So, let's start with the basic setup. First, head on over to Thingiverse and download this thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:52734 Once you've got that loaded up in your slicer of choice, we can begin making some customizations. Using our trusty Customizer tool, let's take a look at all the options available to us. First off, we need to decide on a font size. You've probably already picked out the perfect font for your pen holder by now, so I'm just going to go with 10. You can choose any font you like here; Letters.dxf is the one we'll be using for this project. Next up, let's add some flair with some thicker lettering. Our pen holders will feature a sturdy font_thickness of 5mm, nice and meaty! Of course, the pen itself will need a decent hole to sit in when it's resting there at night. We're going to use a small hole_radius of 3 to give our pens a cozy little home. Now that we've got the basic specs figured out, let's talk about looks. Are you feeling fancy and want your custom pen holder to match your laptop? Choose from an array of color options available within Customizer. And while you're at it, go ahead and add in some decorative details with these lovely 8mm stick_width features. We've also got the flat_bottom setting for all those times when things don't quite fit together as planned - set that to a reliable 2 so your pen always has something to nestle into. Last but not least, if you happen to get an ink splat or some other messy spill onto the design of your thing, Customizer comes with its own cleaning mode: @agredace, it'll clean all the excess grime right off!
