I designed a new aglet to replace the one that fell off my sweatpants. The thread lace I created fits snugly into a 7.7mm diameter opening, or can be compressed down to 6.5mm when squeezed tight. Unfortunately, with no experience in Fusion360 software, I was unable to account for tolerances on the threaded parts of the design. If your 3D printer handles precision well, you may be able to use the model as-is, but if not, I've also included CAD files that can be modified to suit your needs.
